Cancelling a service or experience for a refund

Did you book a service or experience and now you can’t make it? If you cancel within the cancellation period, you’ll receive a full refund.

You can find info about your reservation in your Trips (or reservation confirmation email). The cancellation policy is located under Reservation details.

When reservations are cancelled outside cancellation period

Missed the deadline for a free cancellation? Your host may still be willing to provide a refund. You can request an exception to your host's cancellation policy by clicking or tapping Cancel reservation, choose the reason and then click Request an exception to find out if they'd be willing to refund you. The host has 24 hours to respond to the request.

Coupon refunds

Coupons are non-refundable. If you cancel a reservation in which you used a coupon to pay, the coupon can’t be used again. Find out more about how coupons work.

Booking credit refunds

Refunds for booking credit are subject to your host’s cancellation policy. Depending on when you cancel and the cancellation policy that applies to your reservation, you may get a refund of the booking credit that will be made available on your Airbnb account to use later.
